From West Plains take 160 east about 12 miles to 160-421. You will cross the Oregon County line and pass JJ Highway on your left. Go left on 421 and follow the road around. It will curve to the right and then the left and right again. Go about 3 miles and you will come to an old fallen down house on the left with three black mailboxes at the end of the driveway. Turn left and go back about a 1/2 mile or so. You will pass a driveway on your right with a gate and there will be rocks along the right side painted purple. Go up the next hill to a small clearing and just past the clearing on the left is a steel post with a ribbon on it. That is the east line. Go about 500 feet, past a driveway on the right with a sign that says something like Thisele Down Acres, to a second steel post with ribbons in a clearing on the west end. That is the west line. If you continue past the west line the road will curve to the right and there is a cabin there. Christy Hood lives there and she can show you the corners on the creek on the south end.
