Canada Melrose, Brook
Approximately 8 acres, that is all wooded and would be an excellent recreational parcel. It is about a half-hour from the ocean. It is about 15 miles from Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia, on the St Mary's River.
The land slopes east from the cabin site down to an excellent year-round brook called Gulch Brook. It is heavily wooded with lots of pine and mixed timber.
This part of Nova Scotia is heavily wooded with numerous hiking trails and streams and rivers all flowing to the Atlantic Ocean. If you like to hunt and fish, this is the place to be.
Sherbrooke is a small town of about 500 with a hardware store, three restaurants, grocery store, hospital, drug store, library, bank, garage, and maybe best of all, Sherbrooke Village.
Sherbrooke Village depicts a typical Nova Scotian village from 1860 to Pre-WW1. With approximately 80 buildings, over 25 are open to the public; it is the largest Nova Scotia Museum site.
There is a woodturner shop, blacksmith, pottery shop, and printery. You can enjoy a delicious, light meal at the What Cheer Tea Room located within the Village. Sherbrooke Village reflects Nova Scotia during its industrial boom in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Antigonish, a large town of about 5,000, is about a half-hour to the north.
