Myrtle #7 is approximately 10 acres between Thayer, MO, and Doniphan, MO, in Ripley County.
As you come down the easement road, you will see a seasonal creek that runs from the east side of the property to about the center of the property's south side. You can find the clearing relatively close to the seasonal creek, and it is one of the best spots to camp on this property. Cedar trees surround the clearing, and you can find a nice selection of others trees throughout the parcel. A nice seasonal creek enters the property about the center of the east line and runs through the parcel east to west. An additional creek bed can be found running from north and south. There are just a couple of small, gently sloping hills. There are several acres of level usable land on the west side of the property as well.
Approximately 10.3 acres, located off of CR 609 outside of Birch Tree, MO. Located in Shannon County, this property is surrounded by National Forest and State Conservation Land. This property is the last one on the easement road and does border the Mark Twain National Forest. As you come up the last hill on the easement road, you will see the new circle drive. The clearing sits higher than the rest of the property, providing views to the south and southeast. You will find that the clearing is mainly level and has tons of hardwoods surrounding the clearing. A couple of trails off of the clearing go to the east and north side of the property. On the south side of the property, there is another trail that goes along the property line. The National Forest land will be marked with blue ribbons on the eastern side of the property.
Approximately 11 acres, located just outside of the small rural town of Alton, MO. Alton is located in the heart of Oregon County and has tons of things for you to explore. You are within a 10-minute drive to town. As you drive down the driveway, you will see that this clearing is very spacious. There are several potential building spots, but my favorite one is on the very south end of the clearing. A valley is located just over the hill to the south and southeast. As you look around on this side of the clearing, you will see the picturesque views of the valley. You would have several options to choose from if you decided to build here. It would be perfect for a walkout basement home, or a cabin with a front porch.
Approximately 13 acres, located just outside of the small rural town of Alton, MO. Alton is located in the heart of Oregon County and has tons of things for you to explore. You are within a 10-minute drive to town. As you enter the clearing, you will see that there is a good selection of oak trees. The land is relatively flat on the north side of the clearing and does start to slope a little bit to the south. As you get past the clearing, you will see some magnificent views to the south. There is an old fence line marking the east line on the east side and a good selection of trees to give it that private feeling.
