If you want a place to get away, then I have the place for you. This cabin is located in Sharp County, Arkansas, in an unrestricted area of Ozark Acres. The cabin is located on Oriole Drive, and there is electric available. The electric has already been run to the cabin through an underground conduit. If you are interested in having the power turned on, you will need to call the electric company and have them come out and put a meter in and restore the service. I want to be clear here; you do not have to have any utilities turned on if you do not want to. There are no HOAs to tell you how to live and what you can and cannot do on your property. If you want to live in the cabin you can, if you're going to pull a camper or RV in and live in that full-time, that's fine too. There are no other utilities available except for electric in this area. You will need to drill a well, install a cistern, set up a rain-water collection system, etc., for your water source. If you choose to have a septic system installed, you will need to have a perc test done as that is state law. However, you can use a composting toilet, outhouse, or other forms of waste management.

The cabin has a large open floor design that will consist of the kitchen area, living room, and bedroom. There is a separate restroom that has a bathtub and toilet. There is no sink in the bathroom, but there is a double sink in the kitchen area as-well-as a refrigerator. There are several windows in the cabin as-well-as a ceiling fan in the main living area. There is no central heating and air, but one large window heat/air unit should be able to service the entire cabin. There is also a newer large front porch that faces East away from the road and neighbors that has plenty of room for rocking chairs and a grill. The cabin will need some finishing touches to make it your own, but all the major components are there, including wiring and plumbing.

Ozark Acres is a subdivision located in Sharp County, Arkansas. Ozark Acres has two separate sections, with one being restricted and the other being unrestricted. The cabin, as stated above, is located in the unrestricted part. Ozark Acres has several amenities that are available to those who live in the restricted section, such as two private lakes, a marina, boat docks, picnic area, pavilion, playground, and tennis court. However, for a small fee paid once a year, those that live in the unrestricted area can use those same amenities.
