Things to do nearby: Gasconade River: This amazing river is one of the least known but most beautiful rivers in Missouri. This is perfect for anyone that enjoys canoeing, kayaking, swimming or camping. Mark Twain National Forest: Just a short drive from the property is a large section of the Mark Twain National Forest that is spread over thousands of acres with plenty of trails, campsites, picnic areas, and fishing areas; all of which has year-round public access.

Wilbur Allen Memorial Conservation Area: Consisting of 380 acres of public-use land. This area was established in 1981 in honor of Wilbur Allen, the inventor of the compound bow. The purpose of the area is to promote the hunting of deer by bow but other species may be hunted using firearms during the appropriate season. There is a mile long section of the Gasconade river that runs through the conservation area that isolates the western section, which is only accessible by crossing the river at the public-use boat ramp. There is also a public-use campsite available with public restrooms.

Beaver Creek Paylake and Fish-fry: This pay lake offers a huge fishing area where they charge you based on the weight of what you catch. They also have a large restaurant where they cook fresh catfish right from there clearwater tank as well as crab legs, frog legs, alligator, shrimp, and tilapia. From October until March the restaurant is converted into a steakhouse.
