Van Buren #4

Enjoy These Beautiful Views From The Ridge

Property Description

Check out this bigger tract located in Carter County, just outside of Van Buren, MO. Located down County Road 205-A, you will find this bigger tract that is approximately 34 acres of the rugged outdoors.

As you come into the property, you will follow the easement road along the ridge. Don't forget to take in the breathtaking views all around you. You can see for miles and miles around. This area has some of the most stunning views of the Ozark Mountains. A level clearing can be found just a short distance from the easement road. The terrain varies from some level spots to valleys, and hilltops. There is a good mixture of mature and young hardwoods. Make this your own hunting retreat by building a cabin or just setting up the travel trailer when you come down to hunt. This property will be off-grid as the electricity is about 1/2 mile- 1 mile away from the parcel. If you are just coming for hunting season, hauling water in maybe the easiest way to go. Of course, you can always drill a well if you would like.

This area of southeast Missouri is home to some of the biggest bucks on record. Not only is there a huge selection of mature Whitetail deer, but Elk have also been reintroduced into this area of Missouri. 2020 was the first year for Elk season. In order to get an Elk tag, you must be a Missouri resident, have your hunter's safety course, and follow regulations. Residents residing in the counties the Elk were reintroduced in to have a better chance of getting an Elk tag. Every hunter's dream is to harvest that monster Elk and to be able to display it on the wall. Well become a landowner in Carter County today with Homestead Crossing and increase your odds.

There are so many opportunities with this parcel just waiting for you to make them become a reality.

Van Buren and Carter County is known all around for its stunning scenery, springs, rivers, and Mark Twain National Forest.  There are plenty of activities to keep you and your family busy.

Big Spring is the largest natural spring in Missouri averaging a flow of about 286 million gallons of water a day. The water is clear, cold, and just breathtaking.

The Current River can be found about 10 minutes from the property. The Current River forms in the southeastern portion of the Ozarks. It is a huge part of the Ozark Scenic Riverways. Enjoy a float down one of the most scenic rivers with crystal clear water.
